ArmaForce® Day & Night provides a blend of traditionally used herbs, along with vitamin C, zinc and andrographis to help you get through the day by providing relief from cold and flu symptoms, and to provide relief from pain and congestion during the night to promote a restful sleep. Echinacea and elder flower are used in traditional western herbal medicine (WHM) to reduce the symptoms of the common cold and flu. Andrographis decreases the severity of symptoms and restless sleep associated with mild upper respiratory tract infections. California poppy aids sleep and is used as an analgesic, according to traditional WHM use, and vitamin C and zinc support healthy immune function.
ArmaForce® Day & Night provides standardised herbs including andrographis, baical skullcap, echinacea, elderberry and olive leaf.
Andrographis reduces the symptoms associated with mild upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs), including sore throat, a runny nose, headache, fatigue, cough and restless sleep associated with mild URTIs.
Vitamin C and zinc help to maintain healthy immune function.

Olive leaf is traditionally used in western herbal medicine to relieve mild fever.
Andrographis is not recommended for use in pregnancy. The use of the ingredients in ArmaForce® Day & Night in lactation has not been scientifically evaluated.
Andrographis and echinacea, although well tolerated in most people, have a potential risk of allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, in rare cases.
Concurrent use of andrographis and baical skullcap with anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications (including warfarin and aspirin) may increase risk of bruising and bleeding.[7,8]
Andrographis, baical skullcap, black elder flower and olive leaf may have hypoglycaemic activity, so an additive effect is theoretically possible with antidiabetic drugs.
The immunostimulant activity of andrographis (demonstrated in vivo) and echinacea may theoretically result in an interaction when used concurrently with immunosuppressive medications.
Theoretically, concomitant use of baical skullcap and California poppy with benzodiazepines and medications with sedative properties may cause additive effects and side effects.
Adjunctive use of baical skullcap and olive leaf with antihypertensive medications may theoretically have an additive effect.
It is speculated that olive leaf is contraindicated in bile stones due to the risk of inducing biliary colic from its cholagogue effect.
